Capela instituída por D. Beatriz Ferreira com o encargo anual de uma missa cantada em dia da Natividade de Nossa Senhora, na Igreja de Machico e de dois responsos, um antes e outro após a missa.
Administrador em 1634-11-19, data da primeira quitação (f. 2): Manuel Álvares de Matos, por seu primo reverendo António da Rocha, que tinha a obrigação da casa da árvore. A primeira tomada de conta em 1635 é prestada por Manuel Perestrelo de Vasconcelos.
Último administrador: D. Maria Tojal da Câmara.
