Scope and content
Annexation deed by which Diogo de Brito and his wife Ana Coelho declared that his brother Manuel de Brito, priest, died in 1613-12-02 and he previously ordered in his last will the foundation of a chapel with the obligation to celebrate masses in the Church of São Jorge. The institutor required the sale of his movable and immovable goods located in Santarém and Montemor-o-novo to buy free holding assets to be incorporated into this entail. He finally declared that he wanted his brother Frei Tomás de Brito to establish its succession. The administrators Diogo de Brito and his wife Ana Coelho declared that they fulfiled Manuel de Brito's obligations and that they bought free holding assets to be incorporated into this entail, namely some houses and "herdades" in Lisboa and its outskirts.
