Contract and bond deed between the nuns of the convent of Nossa Senhora of Almoster and D. Gil Eanes da Costa, who also represented his wife, D. Joana da Silva, concerning the entrance of their two daughters, D. Lourença de Meneses and D. Beatriz de Sousa, in that institution and the erection of a family mausoleum. The couple gave 500 000 réis to the convent, which would be employed in the painting of an altarpiece to the main chapel, the construction of the mausoleum and in the acquisition of a public debt instrument or a property, whose revenues would guarantee the maintenance of the chapel. D. Gil and D. Joana also gave a public debt instrument of 9 600 réis in Almoxarifado de Santarém to the convent, which would support the celebration of perpetual annual masses for their souls and for the souls of their descendants. Both of the parties agreed that, following the deaths of D. Gil and D. Joana, the legitimes which belonged to their daughters would be inherited by the successor of D. Gil Eanes da Costa's entail.
