Contract and bond deed by which Francisco de Melo, monteiro-mor, contracted with the priests of the Convent of São Francisco de Santarém to have the main chapel in order to place there his grave. The institutor wanted to give to the priests 300 000 réis, and to pay more 25 000 réis each year for the celebration of masses for his and his heirs' soul. He also wanted to give five jars of oil for the candles of the Santíssimo Sacramento and whatever would be necessary for the maintenance of the chapel. Followed by a consent deed of his wife D. Luísa de Mendonça dated 1641-09-12.
