Contract and bond deed by which Pedro Cardoso, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, in his name and in the name of his wife, D. Isabel de Carvalho, establishes the amount of masses to be prayed in their chapel and burial place, which they ordered to be built in the Colegiada of Santa Maria de Oliveira de Guimarães, 12 years before, and was now finished. He and his wife have agreed to entail their third parts, headed by their farmstead of Paço dos Cardosos, in the parish of Nespereira, to this obligation. The masses will be for their souls and for the souls of kings D. Manuel I and D. João III. The priests of the colegiada accept the payment and promise to fulfil the obligations. Pedro de Cardoso promises, in his, his wife's and his successors' names to pay the priests the amount necessary to their fulfilment.
Followed by an acceptance deed by Isabel de Carvalho, agreeing to the conditions of the contract, on the same day.
