Contract and bond deed between João Rodrigues de Sá de Meneses, Alcaide-mor e capitão do Porto, D. Catarina de Noronha, his wife, and the prior and friars of the convent of S. Francisco, by which the latter donated half of the main chapel of that convent to the former, allowing them and their successors to bury their remains there. The other half of the chapel already belonged to them. In exchange, the couple gave 500 cruzados for the construction of an infirmary in that convent. The couple and their descendants were henceforth responsible for the maintenance of the chapel. Contains a copy of a letter of attorney.
