Contract and bond deed signed by the prior and friars of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça and by Doutor Rodrigo Botelho, executor of the will of the late D. Diogo de Meneses, by which the former donated the main chapel to the successors of the House of Ericeira and Louriçal, allowing the burial of the bodies of D. Henrique de Meneses, Governador da Índia, D. Diogo de Meneses and his descendants in there. The friars committed themselves to celebrate 3 perpetual daily masses and 2 anniversary masses for the soul of the Conde da Ericeira. In turn, Rodrigo Botelho promised to give 25 000 cruzados to the convent, whose friars would be responsible for buying assets to entail to the chapel. Furthermore, Rodrigo Botelho delivered tapestries that had belonged to the deceased, thus fulfilling his last will. It is referred that the House of Ericeira and Louriçal was administrated, at that time, by D. Fernando de Meneses. Contains a copy of a letter of attorney and various court sentences.
