Contract and bond deed by which D. Filipa de Figueiredo, widow of Simão de Faria, declares that her husband had made a contract with the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora da Graça of Lisboa to establish a chapel of the invocation of S. Tiago in their church, as his father, Lourenço de Faria, had wished. Simão de Faria had established an obligation of 36 annual masses and had bequeathed 30 000 réis for the acquisition of a rent of wheat in Campo de Santarém, according to a contract made in 1515-11-12. As heir of her husband, D. Filipa had inherited this money and now promised to acquire the rent for the chapel of her husband and father-in-law. If she dies without acquiring this property, the farmstead where she lives will be entailed in place of the rents.
