Contract and bond deed by which Ana Brandão, represented by Bento Pereira, promised to give, in the following 6 years, a public debt instrument of 20 000 réis to the friars of the convent of S. Bento de Lisboa to buy the chapel of Santo Amaro, where her body, the remains of her husband, Ambrósio Fernandes Brandão, and of the successors of the entail established by him would be buried. She also committed herself to buy a public debt instrument of 30 000 réis to support the celebration of a perpetual daily mass and another one every All Saints' Day in that chapel. The friars of that convent accepted this deed, allowing Ana Brandão to put the institutor's coat of arms above the chapel and providing an altar piece to it. A statue of S. João Evangelista would be displayed inside it, according to Ambrósio Fernandes Brandão's will. The future administrators of the entail were obligated to preserve the state of the chapel and to give, each year, 5 000 réis to the convent, guaranteeing its maintenance. The money would be extracted from the revenues of entailed houses on Calçada do Combro, Lisboa.
