Contudo, antes da apresentação da sua cópia, é indicado que o testamento de Maria Pires Rová foi mostrado "ao licenciado Álvaro Eanes procurador dos Hospitais [e] Capelas [...], aos vinte e três dias do mês de Novembro do ano de mil e quinhentos e dois, o qual veio com petição contra um Álvaro Guedes [...] administrador que mostrasse como cumpria os encargos da dita capela conteúdos em o dito testamento [...] sobre o qual foi tanto alegado pelas ditas partes, que o feito finalmente foi concluso e visto por mim pronunciei uma sentença".
