Donation deed of the chapel of Conceição, located in the monastery of São Francisco do Porto, to Duarte Carneiro Rangel, fidalgo da casa do rei. Duarte received the chapel, where his father Mateus Mendes de Carvalho, fidalgo da casas do rei, was buried, from the hands of the monastery. He had inherited properties and rents from his father that he, together with his mother Maria Rangel, wished to entail. The donation included the right for Duarte and his heirs to be buried in the chapel and to place their coat of arms within it. Duarte Carneiro Rangel also committed himself to giving a copy of the document in which he and his mother had instituted the entail to the São Francisco Monastery.
