Termo issued by the Juízo Apostólico of Angra, recognizing that the administrator of the entail founded by Pedro Álvares da Câmara and Catarina de Ornelas should pay 20 000 réis to the Confraria of N. Sra. do Rosário every year in order to ensure the anal of masses disposed on their will, whose value was commuted in favour of António Martins [Homem], administrator of the entail and grandson of the institutors, who received a papal bull to commute this sum.

Will

Will of Pedro Álvares da Câmara in which he took his own reserved portion, and the reserved portion of his wife, and ordered the foundation of an entail in Juncal, Vila da Praia's district in Terceira island, naming his wife Catarina de Ornelas and his son João de Ornelas as first administrators, and his first born heirs after him. If João de Ornelas died without children, the administration should be transmitted to his sister Isabel de Ornelas. The administrators should retain1/4 of the entail's income and give, from the other 3/4, perpetually, 300 réis in every year to the Confraria do Rosário, that would be spend in the celebration of as many masses as possible. He also ordered the construction of a chapel of the invocation of the Salvador, in the convent of S. Francisco.

Will of Catarina de Ornelas in which she rectified the will of her deceased husband, Pedro Álvares da Câmara, after recognizing it as defective in some parts. She disposed that her son, João de Ornelas, should continue with the construction of their chapel in the convent of S. Francisco, but instead of giving 300 réis to the Confraria do Rosário every year, the administrators should give 10 cruzados in order to celebrate as many masses as possible.
