Provedoria record of the chapel instituted by Gonçalo Morales and Catarina Fernandes, by order and in the presence of Pedro Borges, Desembargador com alçada na comarca de Elvas, Corregedor e Provedor dos Resíduos e Capelas na mesma comarca, registering the institutors’ summary of the will and the document’s notarial references. It was Gonçalo Morales who presented the document to the judge.

Will (extract) by which Gonçalo Morales and Catarina Fernandes, his wife, established an entail, incorporating in it houses on Rua Direita, in Campo Maior. They designated their daughter, Isabel de Morais, to administrate it. After her death, the entailed houses would be transmitted to her daughter, Maior Fernandes. All the future administrators were obligated to support the celebration of 9 annual masses.
