Approval deed of the will made by Margarida Delicado in which she ordered the foundation of a chapel devoted to Espírito Santo, in Alpalhão.

Certificate issued by the Escrivão da Câmara of Alpalhão, certifying that he found a termo on the book that served on the municipal council during the year of 1676, which was made by order of the Provedor das Capelas of Portalegre stating that he had granted permission to D. Margarida Delicado to build her grave on the chapel of Divino Espírito Santo.

Margarida Delicado, therefore allowing her to be buried on the chapel of the Divino Espírito Santo, where she would made her vault and grave. Margarida Delicado, in which they accepted all the conditions placed by her and committed themselves not to interfere on the administration of the chapel, except for the appointment of the Mordomo of the chapel. The officers ordered that a licence deed should be made and registered on the proper books of the municipal council.

Petition made by D. Margarida Delicado to the municipal council of Alpalhão, in which she asked to repair and improve the roof, walls, altar and altarpiece of the Divino Espírito Santo chapel, where she would also purchase and place some images, with the condition that the officers of the municipal council, present and future, who then administrated this chapel, would resign to its administration, handling it to D. Margarida and the administrators appointed by her.

Will

Will made by Margarida Delicado in which she ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel devoted to Espírito Santo, in Alpalhão, with a perpetual mass obligation of five masses celebrated every week. She named her nephew Miguel Dias da Nova as first administrator of the chapel with the condition that he would live on the houses she entailed in Alpalhão. After the death of Miguel Dias da Nova, he would be succeeded by her nephew Miguel Dias and after his death by Brás Calado, also her nephew. After the death of Brás, the succession should always continue on the eldest closest relative of the institutor, with the condition that he or she should be a talented person, capable of administrating the chapel. She ordered the administrators to keep two separate books, one for the record of this will and all of the entailed properties and the other for the record of the masses.
