Cristóvão was in China and sent 210.00 réis to institute a chapel under the invocation of Nossa Senhora da Salvação, with a weekly mass. Since the money was not sufficient to fulfill the institutor's will, António Fernandes bought and entailed more estates, in recognition of his uncle's good deeds.
