Chapel foundation deed

Chapel foundation deed by António João da Rocha and João Rodrigues da Rocha. The founders declared that they had built a chapel in the church of São Julião de Parada do Bouro, dedicated to São João Baptista, where they would be buried. The chapel had an obligation of three masses a week, entangled to the estates. The administrator was to be the same person who owned the "Casa do Serolhal", where both António and João were born. The owner of the chapel had the right to appoint the chaplain, preferring a clergyman from the family.
