Apostolic sentence

Apostolic sentence issued on behalf of padre Lucas de Andrade, administrator of the chapel established by Ana Galvão de Abreu, by Doutor Estêvão Brioso de Figueiredo, bispo nomeado de Pernambuco, ouvidor da Capela Real, and desembargador da Relação Eclesiástica em Lisboa, by the archbishop D. Luís de Sousa, reducing the obligations paid to this chapel. The lands entailed to it were damaged by the war and didn't produce enough to pay them. It is established that once the lands are producing enough to pay the totality of the obligations, they shall again be fully fulfilled.

Denunciation warrant of administration on behalf of António dos Santos de Oliveira allowing him to judicially demand, at his own expenses, the administration of the chapel founded by Ana Galvão de Abreu, after denouncing its vacancy due to the unlawful possession by Manuel Barreto de Meneses of many entailed properties. The desembargadores do Paço should issue the respective administration letter, after presentation of this warrant and the sentence proving its vacancy to the Crown.

Will chart

Will chart of Ana Galvão de Abreu, ordering her grave in the convent of São Francisco of Lisboa, in the tomb of Maria de Abreu, by which she entails a farmhouse (casal) in São Tiago dos Velhos and a farmhouse (casal) in Murteira, parish of São Mamede, on the outskirts of Torres Vedras, to fulfill the charges celebrated in the monastery of São Francisco of Lisboa. She appoints cónego Simão de Gouveia as first administrator, with the responsibility of appointing the successor.
She also entails the olive grove of Forno da Cal, in S. João da Talha, in favour of Joana Rebelo, to help her in her wedding with the pious obligation of an annual mass for the souls of the institutor's deceased ancestors.
She institutes another entail comprising a farm (quinta) in Bulhão, in Alvalade o Grande, and two houses on Rua do Saco, in Lisbon. She appoints D. Antónia, her niece, as first administrator, and her sons and descendants to succeed her.
