Will

Will made by in Nisa by Margarida Vaz Semedo, in which she ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of three entails. The first entail would be composed of two lands in Folha de Figueiró, over which she imposed a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every as long as the world lasted, and to administrate it she named her son Diogo Dias Galeano and his descendants after him. The second entail would be composed of clay pitt in Mainho, over which she imposed a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every as long as the world lasted, and to administrate it she named her son Álvaro de Semedo and, preferably, his male descendants after him. The third entail would be composed of two lands, over which she imposed a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every as long as the world lasted, and to administrate it she named her son Fernando Gomes and his descendants after him. She disposed that if any of them died without descendants, the administration would be handled to some of the others. The institutor declared that none of those entails would be subject to checks made by the Provedor das Capelas.
