Will

Will by which Manuel Vivas Barba expressed his wish to be buried in the tomb of his brother, doutor João Vivas Barba, in Castelo de Vide. He bequeaths the lands and watermill he bought with the money bequeathed to him by his uncle, padre Lourenço Dias, to his cousin João Vivas Barrosinho, with the same obligation of ten masses for Lourenço Dias' soul which he had. He bequeaths the farmlands he received from his cousin Maria Lopes to João, son of António Mouzinho, who would benefit from them during his lifetime with the obligation of six annual masses. After his death, they would pass to João Vivas Barrosinho's heirs, with the same obligations.
