Will

Will made by Pedro Fernandes da Tapada, in which he ordered the foundation of an entail with a perpetual pious obligation of ten masses celebrated every year in his parish, in Portalegre, where his body should be buried and a vault with his name placed. The institutor named his children Manuel Fernandes and Maria Vaz to share the administration of the entail during their lifetimes and their children after them, or, if they had none, the administration would be handled to closest relative. If there were more then one relative in equal grade of kinship, the poorest would be preferred on the administration.

Tapada, Pedro Fernandes da (d.1656)
