Codicil

Codicil made by Gonçalo Vaz de Castelo Branco in which he confirmed the clause of his will in which he bequeathed his own reserved portion to his daughter Isabel de Siqueira, but disposed that it should never be sold nor dispersed, nor alienated, following the nature of entailed assets with a perpetual pious obligation of five masses celebrated every year as long as the world lasted. After her death Isabel would be succeeded by her descendants, or, if she had none, by her brother, Nuno Vaz, son of the institutor.
