Codicil made by Belchior Cardoso de Matos in which he confirmed his will and the foundation of the entail, disposing that if his nephew António Cardoso de Matos or his successors dispersed any of the entailed assets, he would lose the administration, handling it to the next successor in line. The institutor also disposed that the five yearly masses should be celebrated in the Altar das Almas of the church of N. S. da Devesa.
