Codicil

Codicil made by Maria Carrilho in which she changed one of the clauses of her will regarding the entail she founded, disposing that after the death of her husband, Manuel Dias, the administration would be handled to his son Sebastião, who would administrate it during his lifetime, and, after his death, he would be succeeded by Padre Domingos Rodrigues, who would also administrate during his lifetime, and, after his death, the administration would be handled to Maria Carrilha, niece of the institutor, and from there on the succession should continue on her descendants or the closest relative of the institutor's lineage.

Second codicil made by Maria Carrilho in which she revoked the dispositions made on her first codicil and disposed that after the death of her husband, Manuel Dias, he would appoint one of his sons to succeed him with the same conditions or another person he considered adequate to administrate the entail.

Will

Will made by Maria Carrilho in which she ordered to be buried in the Church of Santa Maria da Devesa, in Castelo de Vide, and founded an entail with a perpetual pious obligation of ten masses celebrated every year. The institutor named her husband Manuel Dias as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he would appoint one of his children to succeeded him and from there on the succession should continue, preferably, on the closest relative of the institutor's lineage. This entail is composed of a "souto" located on the outskirts of Marvão.
