Will by which Manuel Mergulhão expresses his wish to be buried in the church of Nossa Senhora da Devesa of Castelo de Vide. He establishes an entail composed of an olive grove in Castelo de Vide, with the obligation of 4 annual masses. As administrator, he appointed his nephew Gaspar Mergulhão, juiz das sisas, granting him the power to choose one of his relatives from the Mergulhões family as successor. If he did not appoint an heir, then the administrator should be the closest relative.
