Will chart

Will chart made by Catarina Marques, in which she ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year, to be administrated during their lifetime by her nieces Isabel Fernandes and Margarida, daughters of Manuel Fernandes. Isabel Fernandes was supposed to live in the houses all her lifetime, paying Margarida 2.000 réis every year. After their death, the chapel should be administrated by the eldest son of the last administrator to die and, from there on, the succession should continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir.
Catarina Marques also ordered two other chapels, by entailing a land (souto), in the location of Juntas, on the outskirts of Marvão, with a perpetual pious obligation of masses celebrated every year, to be administrated during their lifetime by her nephews Pedro and Maria, children of Manuel Fernandes. The assets would be divided into equal parts, being administered separately. After their death, the chapel should be administrated by the eldest son of the last administrator to die and, from there on, the succession should continue, preferably, on the eldest male heir.
