Will chart

Will chart of Baltasar Pereira de Castelo Branco, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of an entail with a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every week in Arronches. The institutor named Isabel Tavares, his wife, as first administrator during her lifetime and, after her death, she would be succeeded by Belchior Velez de Castelo Branco. After his death, he would be succeeded by Baltasar, his son, and from there on the succession should continue, preferably, on the male heir.
The founder was administrator of the chapel of Lopo Curvo, in the mother church of Arronches, so he annexes assets to that chapel, in order to fulfill the clauses of the institution.
