Will chart of Manuel Barreto, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of an entail with a perpetual pious obligation of four masses celebrated every year in Alter do Chão. The institutor named João Álvares Barreto, his brother, as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he would be succeeded by the son of Beatriz Barreto, his niece, that he will name administrator, being able to add any clauses he saw fit.
