Will (extract) by which Bárbara Fernandes bequeaths the casal do Carneiro, in Cabanas do Chão, Alenquer, and its revenue, to her daughter, Simoa dos Santos, wife of Manuel de Morais, with the obligation that, during her lifetime, she will pay 10 000 reis to her brother, Fr. Francisco de Santa Maria, and order 20 annual masses for her soul in the church of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. After the death of Fr. Francisco de Santa Maria, the money given to him will go to Bárbara Fernandes's daughter, and to her succession thereafter, with the obligation of 20 more masses in the same church of S. Francisco, in a total of 40 masses. If her succession is extinguished, the casal and the money will be bequeathed to the Misericórdia of Lisboa.
