Will chart

Will chart made by Francisco Mendes, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of two masses celebrated every year in Castelo de Vide. The institutor named Francisco Martins Barrento, his brother, as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he would be succeeded by Apolónia Mendes, his sister. She was to succeed him until he had a son who could be ordained a priest. If she had no children or if none of her sons were ordered, after Apolónia's death it should pass to her eldest son.
