Will (extract) by which Beatriz de Morais entails her houses in Lisboa with the obligations of 12 masses and 6 masses, respectively, in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. She bequeaths them to Ana Leda, her great-niece, daughter of her niece, Catarina Luís, and to Mariana Luís, daughter of Simoa Dias, another of her nieces. She also orders the acquisition of a public debt instrument of 7 500 reis in the alfândega of Lisboa, over the Casa da Provação of the Company of Jesus, with the obligation that the priests of the Company charge them and use the revenue to pay 6 000 reis to the guardian of the church of S. Roque. The guardian shall, in exchange, pray a chaplet and hear a mass each day for her and her husband's, João Nogueira, soul, and cast holy water over their tomb.
