Will (extract) by which Cristóvão Fernandes bequeaths his houses in Lisboa to his sister, Margarida Fernandes, during her lifetime, to thank her for her services to him, his wife and children. After her death, the houses shall be given to Cristóvão's daughter, Inês de Almada, with the obligation that she pays anually 2 500 reis to her sister, Antónia Carreira, freira in S. Bento of Évora, and orders a "saimento" each year on his and his wife's burial place in the convent of S. Francisco de Lisboa, in Sta. Maria do Monte, and in Caparica, where Cristóvão's mother is buried. She can then appoint the next administrator among Cristóvão's heirs.
