Certificate

Certificate issued by the Juiz dos órfãos de Alhandra at the request of a son of D. Catarina Albertim and Lopo Rodrigues, containing the extracts of the partition deed of Lopo Rodrigues' patrimony.

Albertim, Catarina (flor.1578-1579)

Declaration deed

Declaration deed through which D. Catarina Albertim stated that she had sold her farmstead (quinta) of Rego to Roque Vaz, after obtaining license to transfer the pious obligation associated to a house, located in that farm, to other property. Although she had sold the farm demanding that Roque should buy that other property, she then decided to associate a vineyard, located next to the farmstead she once owned, to the pious obligation instituted by her grandmother in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa.

Petition

Petition by D. Catarina Albertim through which she asks the Provincial of the order of S. Domingos to allow her to transfer the pious obligations instituted by her grandmother, Beatriz Álvares, in the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa, to other property. It was initially associated to a house located in her farmstead (quinta) of Rego, that was in ruins. Followed by the license given by the said Provincial, issued on 1578-11-18.

Sale and bond deed

Sale and bond deed through which D. Catarina Albertim, Lopo Rodrigues' widow, sells to Roque Vaz, Capelão do Rei and Cónego da Sé of the island of S. Tomé, her farmstead (quinta) of Rego, in Lisboa, for 430 000 réis. This farmstead had been bequeathed to D. Catarina by her grandmother, Beatriz Álvares, Pedro Alves' wife, through her codicil, made on 1562-10-21. Inside that property were houses whose revenues were destined to support a pious obligation of 2 annual masses instituted in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. Since those houses were in ruins, D. Catarina demanded that the buyer should buy another property for 40 000 réis, in order to support the aforementioned pious obligation. Followed by a letter of possession issued on 1579-03-13.
