Extract of a will by which Constantina Rebelo, António de Paiva's wife, bequeaths the third part of her assets to her daughters, Francisca and Felipa, with the pious obligation of celebrating five annual masses in the church of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa. Should one of them become a nun, her sister would inherit all the patrimony referred. If both of them died or entered in a convent, the inheritance would pass to Luís de Paiva and Ambrosio, Constantina's sons. The testator asks both of her daughters to become nuns, as soon as she died. She chooses to be buried in the grave of her mother-in-law, in the church of the referred convent.
