Sentence refusing the claims of the abbess and nuns of the convent of Santa Marta, to which D. Mariana, daughter of Filipa de Sousa and heir of D. Luísa de Góis, had bequeathed the properties entailed to her mother's chapel. They claimed these properties weren't entailed and that the obligations weren't perpetual, and as such the properties could be alienated, and the provedor das Capelas couldn't make a tombo of them.

Sentence ordering the issuance of an exemplification of Filipa de Sousa's will, at the request of her mother and heir, D. Luísa de Góis.

Will (extract) by which D. Filipa de Sousa, wife of Luís de Góis, expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, wearing the habit of the Franciscan Friars. She appoints her mother, D. Luísa de Góis, as her universal heir, under the condition that she orders an annual divine office and a sung mass to the Assumption of Our Lady, for her own soul, and another mass for her aunt's soul. After D. Luísa's death, the entail shall be bequeathed to D. Filipa's daughter, D. Mariana.

Will (extract) by which D. Filipa de Sousa appoints her mother, D. Luísa de Góis, as her heir, with the obligation of an annual divine office in her burial place.
