Will chart made by Diogo Barradas de Bem, in which he ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of three masses celebrated every year in Monforte. The institutor appoints Maria Aires, his wife, and their daughters Isabel Aires and Catarina Vaz to be first administrators, during the first four years. At the end of that period, they shall be succeeded by Manuel Barradas during his lifetime and, after his death, by his son.
The “cumpra-se” dates from 1599-10-27.
