Will chart

Will chart made by Simão Fernandes and his wife Isabel de Matos, in which they ordered, among other dispositions, the foundation of a chapel with a perpetual pious obligation of four masses celebrated every year in Portalegre. The institutors named Bartolomeu Barreto as first administrator during his lifetime and, after his death, he would be succeeded by Lopo, his son. In the event of extinction of the lineage, administration would pass to the Confraria das Almas of the Cathedral of Portalegre.
