Exemplification of a will chart made by Pedro de Paiva, fidalgo da Casa do Rei e escrivão da sua Fazenda, issued at the request of his son and heir, António de Paiva.

Will chart

Will chart by which Pedro de Paiva expresses his wish to be buried in the church of the Misericórdia of Lisboa, where his parents are buried, whilst his burial place isn't ready. He entails the third part of his assets, which he bequeaths to his son, António de Paiva, with the obligation of three annual masses in the altar closest to his tomb.
Followed by an approval deed and an opening deed of the will, dated 1594-11-03.
