Bond by which Clara de Figueiredo da Silva, widow of Paulo Carreiro, promises to fulfill the obligations of the chapel established by Pedro Carreiro. She had been called to fulfill this obligation, as her husband had been administrator of the chapel of Pedro Carreiro, but had died before binding any properties to it. She had entailed revenue from houses in Lisboa and the herdade of Gargolim de Baixo, in Ribeira de Palma, to fulfill the obligation.
Contains sentence mentioning a petition and ordering the making of a subrogation deed, dated 1633-09-12, and a letter-of-attorney dated 1633-09-05. Followed by a dispatch dated 1633-09-17.

Entail and chapel foundation deed

Entail and chapel foundation deed by which Pedro Carreiro, cavaleiro da Ordem de Cristo, and Leonor Nunes de Macedo, his wife, establish a chapel in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where they wish to be buried. They entail 20 000 reis of interest and Pedro Carreiro's properties to an obligation of a daily mass, an annual divine office and the obligation of marrying an orphan every year. Pedro Carreiro appoints his wife, Leonor Nunes de Macedo, as his universal heir. After their deaths, the entail shall be given to Paulo Carreiro, Pedro Carreiro's cousin and to his children, afterwards.
