Will (extract) by which Jorge de Lemos expresses his wish to be buried in the convent of S. Domingos de Benfica, Lisboa, in the tomb of his grandparents. He establishes an obligation of ten annual masses in that convent, for his and his parents and grandparents' souls, and an entail with his herdade [in Alvalade]. He bequeaths it to his son, Pedro Lopes, who went to India. If his son dies before him, or without descendance, it shall be inherited by his nephew, Bartolomeu Vaz de Lemos or, if he also dies before him, by his other nephew, Francisco de Lemos.
