João Dias; Ana Dias entail

Codicil

Codicil by which João Dias, o Escudeiro, revokes certain clauses of his will. He changes his burial place from the church of S. Sebastião to the convent of S. Domingos de Benfica, where he establishes an obligation of three annual masses for his soul. He entails to it a rose garden and his houses in Palma de Baixo, Lisboa. He appoints his daughter, Ana Dias, as his heir and executor. After her death, he appoints his granddaughter, Maria de Fanca (?), wife of João Munhoz, and their children afterwards, in order that the entail is always in his successors' lineage.
