Contract and bond deed

Contract and bond deed celebrated between the religiosos of the São Francisco of Évora monastery and João Afonso de Aguiar and his wife Maria Esteves. The latter had built a chapel in that monastery, where they wanted to be buried. This contract defined the charges that were to be celebrated upon and appointed Garcia de Melo to be the first administrator during his lifetime. After his death, he shall be succeeded by his eldest male son. The first ones agree with the clauses expressed in the contract.
