Exemplification of a will chart made by D. Leonor Chaínho, issued by Matias Gonçalves de Oliveira, tabelião, at the request of Frei Diogo de Azevedo, friar of the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa.

Leonor Chaínho entail

Will chart

Will chart by which D. Leonor Chaínho, Lisuarte de Aragão de Sousa's widow, bequeaths vineyards in Amora to Maria, her freed slave, obligating her to celebrate annual masses for her soul in the church of that place. After Maria's death, it must be inherited by Leonor's goddaughter, Incensa.
The testator establishes another entail with her farmstead (quinta) of Barroca, in Almada, which she bequeaths to the convent of S. Domingos of Lisboa with the obligation of celebrating annual masses in its church, where her body should be buried. Followed by an approval deed issued on 1507-04-02, and an opening deed issued on 1597-04-08.
