Tombo (extract) of the chapels of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, written in 1677, in which it is declared that capitão João da Costa, who died during a trip to India, had ordered a daily mass and a divine office, entailing to it a public debt instrument in the Casa das Frutas. The obligation started to be charged in 1659-01-01. The administrators of his chapel were Ana de Abreu da Costa, his wife, and their son-in-law, doutor Brás de Pina Moniz, who delivered the public debt instrument, issued in 1670, to the syndic of the convent, who became its perpetual administrator.
