Sentence ordering the issuance of a sentence to the syndic of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, to allow him to charge the revenue of the public debt instrument entailed to the chapel established by João da Costa and Ana de Abreu.

Tombo (extract) of the chapels of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, written in 1677, in which it is declared that capitão João da Costa, who died during a trip to India, had ordered a daily mass and a divine office, entailing to it a public debt instrument in the Casa das Frutas. The obligation started to be charged in 1659-01-01. The administrators of his chapel were Ana de Abreu da Costa, his wife, and their son-in-law, doutor Brás de Pina Moniz, who delivered the public debt instrument, issued in 1670, to the syndic of the convent, who became its perpetual administrator.

Will (extract) by which capitão João da Costa asks his wife to entail three houses with the obligation of one or two daily masses for both their souls in the convent of São Francisco of Lisboa.

Will (extract) by which Ana de Abreu da Costa, widow of capitão João da Costa, appoints her daughter, D. Mariana, wife of doutor Brás de Pina Moniz, as her universal heir. She establishes a daily mass in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, for her and her husband's soul, to which she entails a public debt instrument in the Almoxarifado da Fruta.
