Will (extract) by which D. Joana de Melo expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where her mother, D. Antónia de Sá, is buried. She appoints her nephew, Henrique Pereira de Sousa, as her universal heir, with the obligation of eight annual masses and three divine offices in her burial place and in her parish. She also bequeaths a casal near Arruda to her criado, António Pimentel, with an obligation of eight annual masses.
