Dowry deed

Dowry deed by which José da Costa and his wife, Maria de Lemos, donate their houses in Lisboa to their daughter, Ana da Costa de Lemos, on the occasion of her marriage to João de Fuentes Biscarreta, escrivão do Rei, e da Audiência e Julgado Geral da Gente de Guerra e Soldo deste Reino pela Coroa de Castela. José da Costa also donates them his third part, under the condition that Maria de Lemos can have their usufruct while she lives, and reserving a part of it to use in pious obligations. This reserved part shall, after their deaths, be given to whomever inherits his quinta de Benfica, who shall order two daily masses for his and his wife's souls in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa.
