Certificate of a will (extract) of António Pais Ferraz, presented at the request of Inês Teixeira Ferraz, his niece. She asked to take possession of the windmills which belonged to him, as she had been appointed his heir.

Dispatch refusing the motion set by Luís Teixeira de Carvalho, who claimed the watermills sequestered had been sold to him by Maria Pais Ferraz, heir of António Pais Ferraz, her brother, in 1652, without mention of any obligations to a chapel. He declares he can pay the obligation without difficulty, if it is proven that the watermills are entailed.
Preceded by petition and motion by Luís Teixeira de Carvalho, undated. Followed by account of the debt of the administrator and sentence ordering its payment, dated 1675-10-30.

Tombo (extract) of the chapel of Inês Teixeira, in which it is explained she ordered two annual masses in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, entailed to watermills in ribeira de Valejas, Lisboa. The administrators were Francisca Ferraz, her granddaughter, Diogo Ferraz, António Pais Ferraz, Maria Pais Ferraz and, presently, Luís Teixeira de Carvalho. Obligations were paid from 1636 to 1652.

Will (extract) by which António Pais Ferraz appoints his sister, Maria Pais, as heir of his watermills in Valejas, entailed to the chapel established by his grandmother, Inês Teixeira, with an obligation of two annual masses in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where she is buried. Maria Pais must appoint her niece, Inês Teixeira, as the next administrator.
