Certificate by which frei Diogo de Santo André, guardião of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, confirms that Vicente Soares and D. Joana Maldonado, his wife, have fulfilled the obligations of masses established by Isabel de Abreu, annually, from 1577 to 1585.

Motion

Motion on the revenue of the houses entailed to the chapel established by Isabel de Abreu, which currently belonged to D. Micaela, religiosa in the convent of S. João Evangelista das carmelitas of Aveiro.
Preceded by declarations by her brother, D. Gaspar Maldonado e Espolleta, who acted as her attorney, at the request of the syndic of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, and dispatch ordering the motion, dated 1672-11-02. Followed by mention of a dowry deed, dated 1612-05-01, by which D. Francisco Soares and D. Joana Maldonado, his sister-in-law, donated these houses to Miguel Maldonado and D. Madalena Soares, his wife, and by termo declaring that Gaspar Maldonado, as attorney of his sister, paid the obligations.

Will (extract) by which Isabel de Abreu expresses her wish to be buried in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where her mother is buried, with an obligation of eleven annual masses for her soul, and thirty for the soul of her husband, Francisco de Oliveira. She entails her third part to this obligation.
