Bond by which D. Álvaro de Ataíde, fidalgo da Casa do Rei, entails his casal of S. Tiago dos Velhos, which he had inherited from his mother, D. Mariana de Noronha, to the entail established by his father and grandparents.
Contains donation deed dated 1516-07-17, and deed of sale dated 1518-01-05, containing a licence dated 1517-12-01. These documents refer the previous owners of the casal, unrelated to the chapel.

Will (extract) by which D. Mariana de Noronha, widow of D. Estêvão de Ataíde, who went to India, entails a casal in S. Tiago dos Velhos, to the chapel established by her mother-in-law, D. Jerónima de Castro, according to her husband's will. She bequeaths it to her son, D. Álvaro de Ataíde, with an obligation of a weekly mass in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. If her son dies without descendants, the entail shall pass to his sister, D. Ana de Noronha.

Will (extract) by which D. Estêvão de Ataíde bequeaths his properties, including quinta da Ferreira, to his eldest son, D. Álvaro de Ataíde, as an entail to always be inherited by eldest sons. He takes the properties in Açores which he inherited from his mother, D. Jerónima de Castro, and bequeaths them to his wife, D. Mariana, who shall sell them, according to her will, and establish a weekly mass for her soul in the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa. His son, D. Álvaro de Ataíde, shall be its next administrator.

Will (extract) by which D. Jerónima de Castro expresses her wish to be buried in the chapterhouse of the convent of S. Francisco of Lisboa, where D. Joana da Costa, her grandmother, is buried. She bequeaths her third part to her son, D. Estêvão de Ataíde, so he can buy properties to entail to an obligation of a weekly mass every Friday.
A codicil, dated 1582-01-26, is mentioned, but not transcribed.
