Contract and bond deed between the priests of the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa and Filipe Peixoto da Silva, by which he accomplishes the will of his late wife Isabel Gomes. She expressed her wish of obligating the third part of her assets to the fulfilment of a daily mass at the altar of Santo Cristo in the church of that convent. Filipe Peixoto binds himself and the future administrators of the chapel to the payment of 28 000 réis or 30 000 réis per year, entailing his property (casal) in Cabrela, in the outskirts of Sintra.
It mentions that Filipe Peixoto is son of Estêvão Peixoto da Silva and Isabel de Araújo, and it inserts his petition to sign this contract in the absence of the procurador das capelas (which is not dated) and the dispatch issued by the provedor dos resíduos (dated 1658-10-27).
