Will (extract) by which Francisco da Fonseca appoints his wife, Beatriz Monteiro, to succeed in the houses near Santo António dos Capuchos, with the obligation of accomplishing a set of perpetual masses for his soul at the convent of Nossa Senhora do Carmo de Lisboa. He details some of the conditions, adding that whoever has the houses must commit to this charge, and if that person doesn't fulfil it at some point, the priests of the convent should ensure it, taking the houses and using their income. The testator also expresses his wish of being buried in that convent.
